Bio

I enjoy the creative outlet “clay play” allows me – as an English teacher during the school year, and a mother to two wily young children (with a dog and husband to nicely round out the domestic chaos) 24/7, I don’t have endless hours to spend on this hobby, but when I do get my hands on clay and my ears tuned in to my latest audio book, I am happy.

Artist’s Story

Inspired by the art and architecture in my local community, as well as the abundance of nature in my backyard, I enjoy creating a variety of polymer clay pieces to fit a full range of interests. While I create simply because I enjoy the process, I love getting to share what I make with others.

My “clay play” started as an intention for me to have a fun creative outlet. Within a matter of weeks, I was having so much *fun* that my house was teeming with polymer clay earrings. Soon after, my husband said, “umm, those aren’t all staying here, right?” With further urging from friends, I found the courage to begin posting weekly sales on social media. Within a short time, that was no longer the most efficient way to post my creations…and now here I am dipping my toes in the website pool.
